We are very excited to be partnering with Kelsey Donald of Georgia Peach Ceramics to offer two new, unique classes to our guests!

Layers in Clay 

An immersive hand building and surface design experience for adults or teens 13+.

3pm-5pm Friday 11 July (Part One)  

Form and Foundation: Participants will hand build either a mug with a handle, a small vase/tumbler, or a platter. 

3pm-5pm Saturday 12 July (Part Two) 

Surface Decoration: Once pieces are leather hard, we will decorate the pieces using under glaze and sgraffito carving. Included in the price is all the materials and tools needed for the class, as well as firing and glazing by our studio. 

Coffee and Clay 

A cosy, hands-on mug making session with room to explore your style. 

12-2pm Saturday 12 July 

*complimentary hot drink included

Hand-build your own unique mug, learn how to make and attach a handle, and have the option to add texture or underglaze accents if time allows. Included in the price is all the materials and tools needed for the class, as well as firing and glazing by our studio.

Both classes will be held at Mohaka River Farm Cafe and Gallery, with a range of other activities as well as food and drink available. Come out for the day or spend the night- we look forward to seeing you!
